Matching Grant Awarded to the Madison Winter Festival on Jan 05, 2008

MADISON, WI (December 31) 

This February 2-3, 2008 the fourth annual Capitol Square Sprints will transform into the Madison Winter Festival by adding additional family festive activities such as:
  • Snow Sculpture Competition
  • Museums Winter Theme Events
  • Findorff Tubing Hill
Dr Leslie and John Taylor, in commitment to a greater community built on core values, are offering to match dollar for dollar tax deductible donations up to $25,000 dollars.

A fundraising campaign will start on January 1st, 2008 and end on February 1st, 2008 with the goal of raising $50,000 to continue to develop, enrich and promote fun and healthy life styles during the wintertime through showcasing snow sports and festive recreational activities.

Donors can send a check for their donation to the Madison Winter Festival at PO Box 930442, Verona, WI 53593 or donate online through PayPal at http://www.winter-fest.com/site_pages/Grant.htm. The check should be made out to 'Wisconsin Nordic Sports Foundation' with the 'Madison Winter Festival' on the memo line. The Wisconsin Nordic Sports Foundation is a non-profit organization and donations are tax deductible.
