Elver Park Equipment Fund-raising Effort Underway on Dec 16, 2008
The children (young and old) of Elver Park will have a lot to smile about this holiday. MadNorSki, Madison Parks, and the Madison Community Foundation have teamed up to raise over $223,000.00 to begin snow making operations at the park.
The Nordic community also has a lot to smile about this holiday with the addition of a new Pisten Bully groomer to support this effort. The club contributed $20,000.00 to this project. In addition, $5,000.00 worth of new Cross country ski equipment is being purchased for the rental program at Elver. This is where you come in. The Madison Nordic Ski Club has provided a challenge grant of up to $2900 to its members to help purchase the new equipment for the rental program. Full details on the fund-raising effort have been sent to all club members and other interested parties.
