At the January club meeting on the 8th, American Birkebeiner Ski Foundation Executive Director Ben Popp came to talk about the upcoming 50th Anniversary of the Birkie and to share the vision for the Mount Telemark Project. A hearty thank you to Ben for presenting at our meeting and bringing some fun Birkie swag that we raffled off to members. Thank you also to University Ridge Golf Course for the generous golf package you offered for the raffle. We had some happy raffle winners that night!
Our next club meeting will be February 12 at the Badger Rock Neighborhood Center at 501 E Badger Road in Madison. We have our Annual Chili Feed Fundraiser Dinner where we will focus on the accomplishments of our Youth Programs and thank our many volunteer instructors/coaches.
