McCarthy Park, Cottage Grove, WI
The McCarthy Park Trail Run offers 9K, 18K, and 18K two-person relay trail races, and a free 1K kids race. Kids are encouraged to wear their Halloween costumes in the race! Our event is the 5th and final race in the WI Trail Run Savannah Series. Proceeds will benefit “The Friends of McCarthy Park” who support many projects throughout the park each year. The proceeds from the run help fund winter activities in the park. With the past race proceeds we have helped with the cost of grooming the ski trails, the sledding hill and snow plowing.
