Very Good around machined-snow loops after the end of the CXC Birkie Live Feed – just a little more compacted than Friday, with no grooming apparent today. Upper Field trail is Good except for the stretch from the parking area heading north, to just before the southwestward hook. Some gravel and stubble requires careful negotiation for those 300m or so. Several skiers had made use of the PV golf course trail, which has not been rolled since the 3" snowfall. It has skied-in CL tracks but this loop probably won't be skiable with the impending 40+ temps on the way. CXC is the only ski game in town, and a good consolation for those of us not up north to enjoy this year's great Kortie-Birkie week.
