1. Helping at a Race Event:

2. Teaching our young people how to ski:
Share your love for skiing with the next generation! Become a mentor and help kids learn the basics of skiing, fostering their passion for the sport. See Volunteer Coaching Application below.

3. Working at the Fall Ski Swap:
Contribute to our annual fall ski swap event, where skiing enthusiasts gather to buy and sell gear. Help organize the event, assist attendees, and create a vibrant atmosphere.

4. Lending a Hand at a Club Meeting:
Support the administrative side of our club by volunteering at club meetings. Your assistance ensures that our meetings run smoothly, fostering a sense of community among our members.

5. Leading a Club Activity or Event:
Do you have a favorite skiing spot or a unique skiing-related activity in mind? Maybe you want to lead a hike? Lead a club activity at anytime of year and share your expertise with fellow members. Whether it’s a rollerski, bike, or a cross-country skiing outing, your leadership can enhance our members’ experiences. Fill out the short Event Submission Form to propose your idea and we will get the word out to the club!

How to Get Involved:

Ready to be an active part of our Ski Club community? Follow these steps:

1. Express Your Interest or Just Sign Up: If you have would like to express an interest in volunteering or ask a question, contact Executive Director Tamara Bryant indicating your preferred volunteering opportunity. All current club members can access the volunteer sign up lists on the members page.

2. Fill out the Coaching Application: Show your interest in volunteering to coach and attend an orientation session to understand your coaching role and responsibilities better. please fill out the form below so you can be contacted. You will be asked what program you are interested in coaching and what days you are available. Madnorski requires all volunteer coaches to be current members of the club and to have a volunteer membership through US Ski and Snowboard which involves having a background check as well as completing a 90 minute SafeSport Training and exam. We welcome Madnorski Junior skiers (Ages 16-18) who would like to help coach our Trail Kids to apply as well!

3. Volunteer to lead an activity or event: Share your passion for outdoor activities with other club members and make a difference in our community! Submit the details of your event such as proposed date, time, location, event description of what you would like to lead…. Our Social Chair will get back to you about your idea and can help you get the word out to club members.
