Trail Conditions (New Test)

As much as I would’ve liked to groom today the snow was just too wet and it would have just gone to hard pack. So just go out enjoy the snow as it is. With the warm temp it will go quickly, so enjoy as is! Sorry

Ungroomed. Plenty of snow to go out with rock skis and have fun gliding. It’s kind of a bummer that we likely won’t get any grooming out of this snowfall, but hey, I’m just happy to have snow on the ground again.

Korkki Nordic just north of Duluth had great skiing for Sunday's Eric Judeen Memorial Classic event. Lovely rolling trail with lots of short climbs and a couple hold-onto-your-socks descents. Snow should last most of the month under foreseeable weather forecast.

Lester Park in Duluth has very good snow – sufficiently tilled loose snow on a base firmed up by a thaw or two. Saturday a.m. freezing mist yielded to a fun candlelight ski night with lots of families. Whether or not there are other fun events up there, skiing should be good for the foreseeable …

Skied 10:45-11:30. Groomer was at work. Classic tracks not fully laid and there that were had a lot of ice. Just not enough new snow! Skate deck looked pretty good. Hill trails and Halle her loop not yet groomed.

A set of carbon ski poles was recovered from the Blue Mounds parking lot in January. Please contact Mac at (608)316-5403 to recover them. Flattened skate deck with pull behind Tidd Tech G2.

Perfectly groomed trail on the manmade loop. Solid base with firm corduroy on top presented fast but controllable conditions. They do an awesome job of grooming here! best conditions I've seen all year-get it while it lasts!

All groomed for skate and classic this morning.
