Coach Jay Sween, who many of you know, has coached for Madnorski as both an assistant and head coach for years and is now moving to Ironwood to be the Executive Director for ABR — Anderson Bluffs & River Trails! We are thrilled for him and we are now in need of a new assistant coach.
The assistant coach position would ideally start this fall (last week of September) with our twice-a-week rollerski program meeting on Monday and Wednesday evenings 5:30 – 7:00 pm. The commitment would be similar in the winter months (Dec – Feb) with a minimum of two practices a week and then attending some race events on the weekends as available. We are looking for a skilled rollerskier and Nordic skier (Classic and Skate techniques) with racing experience who enjoys working with youth. The assistant coach will join a very dedicated and fun team of coaches who support one another and create some wonderful experiences for our youth.
