Klister Club Awarded to Eric Anderson & Angela Santini

After 30 years as owners of ABR Trails in Ironwood, Michigan, Eric Anderson and Angela Santini are ready to retire and will be preserving their legacy of the beloved ABR trails for future generations by donating land, equipment, and buildings to the nonprofit Anderson Bluffs & River Trails Foundation.  The Foundation will begin running ski operations in April 2025.

The Madison Nordic Ski Club honored Eric and Angela at the March Club meeting for this incredibly generous gift to the region’s ski community with a book we put together called “ABR Trails “Memory Lane” –  A tribute to Eric Anderson & Angela Santini” referring to the popular Memory Lane ski trail along the Montreal river at ABR.  Madnorski members shared photos and stories of their experiences and appreciation of the ABR Trails. As part of this book, the club included a certificate recognizing Eric and Angela as 2025 inductees to the Madnorski Klister Club! The Klister Club Award acknowledges those that have continuously given or dedicated a great effort to our sport of Nordic Skiing. Proceeds from the March Meeting raffle were given to the new Anderson Bluffs & River Trails Foundation to help support their new start in running the ABR Trails.
