The skate deck got a refresh this morning. The west trail have good coverage. Climbs to the east trails, are very thin and dirty but coverage is ok once you’re up there. Tracks are in good shape so I left them alone. Come test your glide wax on some cold snow before the big dance.
Track has been reset since the drifting of last few days. Odana in best shape since it snowed last week. Many areas quite excellent. Skate deck looked good though some thin spots with grass showing here and there in both tracks and skate deck.
We groomed again today. The trails are thin but holding up well on the Zimmer Loops. Their are a few thinner spots on the transition parts of Bucky's Pass. Open until 4pm today and 9-5pm tomorrow. Please check in when you arrive at the Golf Shop.
Groomed just the skating today on most of the golf course and CXC loops. Classic tracks looked good from what I could see but are probably icy. Skating looked good in most places, I probably dug up some.dirt since it's hard to see the trail in the dark.
Classic tracks were poor on most of the loop. Groomed over, wind blown and just plain bad. Few areas of grass or dirt, but generally decent coverage. Skate deck looked better in general.
Trails on the east side were in very good shape considering the snow cover. Fairly firm and fast. Didn't make it over to the west side. Tracks for classic skiing looked really good as well.
-5 degree temperature prompted a day of striding. Tracks were 98% solid with the occasional dirty spot. One could of course hop out on the skating deck, which was excellent, when required. Kick was as expected perfect. Best natural snow diagonal skiing of the season in southern Wisconsin. Hats off to groomers, fantastic effort. Thanks

Fair to good conditions. Groomed the man-made snow loops for skating. Groomed most of the golf course and added classic tracks.
Quite good snow coverage- overall grading good/fair. The kids/front loop was practically pristine- could do A skis if you just stayed there, for example if you wanted to do some quick tuneups before a race this weekend. Everywhere else B skis was a good idea, some dirt/thin spots here and there.
